STORAGE TIPS

Smart, simple tips to help you store efficiently and protect your belongings.
1. Choose the Right Unit Size
Select a storage unit that fits everything you plan to store without overcrowding. Use our size guide or consult our team to ensure your belongings, RV, or boat will fit comfortably.

2. Use Climate-Controlled Units for Sensitive Items
Protect items that can be damaged by heat, cold, or humidity, such as electronics, furniture, or important documents, by using our climate-controlled units.

3. Store Vehicles Indoors When Possible
For maximum protection, park cars, trucks, RVs, or boats in indoor spaces. This shields them from weather, sun damage, and environmental wear.

4. Secure Your Belongings
Even though our facility is fenced, gated, and monitored with video cameras, always lock your unit and cover items when appropriate to maintain security.

5. Organize and Label Boxes
Stack boxes neatly and label them clearly. Keep frequently used items near the front of the unit for quick access.

6. Avoid Storing Prohibited Items
Do not store hazardous materials, flammable items, or perishable goods. Review our storage guidelines for a complete list of prohibited items.

7. Use Pallets or Shelving
Keep items off the floor by using pallets or shelves. This prevents water damage and makes organizing easier.

8. Take Inventory
Create a detailed inventory of all items you’re storing. This helps track your belongings and ensures you know what’s in each box or storage area.

9. Plan Your Access
With access hours from 6 AM to 10 PM, plan your visits to maximize efficiency. Use drive-up access when moving large items in or out.

10. Consider Truck Rentals
For larger moves, take advantage of our on-site truck rentals to safely transport vehicles, furniture, or large equipment.
